[00:00:03] Welcome to Ill Communication, Copywriting, Tips and sales strategies for small Business. I'm your host, Kim Keel. I'm a copy coach, sales strategist and direct response copywriter. It's my mission to help women leaders and change makers amplify their voices through copy. It's why I'm dishing out all the juicy tips, writing prompts and sales formulas to help you generate more leads, book more calls, and get more high value clients on repeat. Sounds pretty good. It's time to ditch the overwhelm you might be feeling and find confidence in your copywriting so you can get your message out there and attract more soulmate clients. Let's get started. Hey. Hey, my friend. Welcome to the Champagne episode of the Ill Communication podcast. I'm [00:01:00] treating this episode the same way you might treat your champagne birthday. You know, the one when your age matches the day you're born. So if your birthday is on the 24th of the month, your champagne birthday is when you turn 24. Unfortunately for me, my birthday is on the second, so I was only two when I should have celebrated my champagne birthday, which is kind of why I'm choosing to celebrate the 48th episode of this podcast in my 48th year on the planet Earth. Because let's be honest, don't you think we should find every reason to celebrate every milestone in our lives, no matter how big or how small? In this champagne episode, I'm giving you an inside scoop into what to expect over the next couple months.
[00:01:45] Now, as you know, one of my missions with my business is to make copywriting a little easier for you so you can more easily grow your audience and sales without sacrificing more time with your family or doing the things you love. [00:02:00] And I want the same for my business too. So this episode is being released on the first day of school holidays for my kids, and I want to create a little more space and ease in my business so I can enjoy the summer break with my kids, whether they want to spend time with me or not. That's why I'm going to be delivering a few different episodes for you over the summer months. You're going to be able to enjoy some new podcast episodes from other podcasts I've been a guest on. I've hand-picked some of the most amazing business owners and episodes to help inspire you as you grow your business as well as improve your copy. So you'll hear from Jessica Fernley, the host of the seven Figure Consultant podcast, a truly exceptional business coach for women consultants. You'll get to experience the absolute delight of Molly Clare, who is a gifted life and business coach and mentor for [00:03:00] women coaches. I know you'll enjoy hearing about some surprising ways to build a sustainable business with Elaine Liu, who's a coach for women of color and allies.
[00:03:11] And you'll love getting some hot tips for social media copywriting with Heather Holloway of the Social Media Success for Professionals Podcast. I'll be dropping these interview style podcasts throughout the next eight episodes, interspersed with the quick hit coffee tips and writing prompts you're used to. But here's what I really want you to hear. I'm repurposing existing content and sharing it in a new way, and I invite you to do the same. What have you already created that you can repurpose for social media content or a blog post? Have you been a guest on other podcasts that you can promote or promote in a new way? The path to create an easy, profitable business doesn't require you to constantly be on the content creation hamster wheel. I [00:04:00] guarantee you have older content you can dig out, refresh and repurpose. And if you're looking for some good inspiration, please check out episode 37 that talks about the kitchen sink email as a way to repurpose amazing content. It's truly a great episode. And lastly, because this is my Champagne episode, I'd love if you could help me mark the occasion. Please leave a rating and a review of the podcast. It helps the podcast player know people, enjoy this podcast and get value from it. So it will show up more in people's feeds. And if you're feeling extra celebratory, please take a screenshot of your favorite episode and share it on your social channels.
[00:04:43] Tagging me. This podcast is a real labor of love and I do love doing it, but it's getting harder and harder to deflect the question. So are you making any money with the podcast yet? No, Mom, I'm not. But I do have faith. I'm [00:05:00] creating value, helping people and providing a little entertainment too, which are equally important. So, my friend, I hope you'll join me in popping a little bubbly. The champagne kind or the Michael Buble kind to celebrate 48 episodes in my 48th year of life. My actual birthday isn't for a few more weeks, but like I said, we need to celebrate more milestones more often. I'll see you next week when you'll hear one of my favorite past podcast interviews. Bye for now. And that's a wrap on today's episode of Ill Communication. Hey, if you're picking up what I'm putting down, I would love if you would leave a rating and a review to let me know. And don't forget to follow the show so you never miss out on the tips, prompts and strategies I share in every episode. They're designed to make you an ill communicator, too. As always, you can check out all the links and resources from this episode [00:06:00] on the web page. Just head over to Kim Reel.com Slash podcast. I'll chat with you again next week.
