[00:00:03] Welcome to Ill Communication, Copywriting, Tips and sales strategies for small Business. I'm your host, Kim Keel. I'm a copy coach, sales strategist and direct response copywriter. It's my mission to help women leaders and change makers amplify their voices through copy. It's why I'm dishing out all the juicy tips, writing prompts and sales formulas to help you generate more leads, book more calls, and get more high value clients on repeat. Sounds pretty good. It's time to ditch the overwhelm you might be feeling and find confidence in your copywriting so you can get your message out there and attract more soulmate clients. Let's get started. They say it takes a village to raise a child. And it was certainly true when I had babies and young kids. And I believe it's just as true [00:01:00] as I age and as my mom, in-laws and extended family enter their later years, it takes a village to support our aging family members. In the last few months, my husband and I have stepped in to support our cousins with various needs for our aging aunts and uncles and my cousins and friends have supported me and my family when I've needed to be available to help our parents downsize their homes or get to medical appointments. I'm sure you've dropped off meals and care packages to a friend dealing with illness or death of a parent, or have driven older family members to medical appointments and treatments. I couldn't make it without my village in life and in business.
[00:01:42] I've developed close friendships and relationships with women. I've met inside of business masterminds and communities and some of these women I've never met in real life. These women become my confidants and collaborators. We send each other voice notes, asking questions, [00:02:00] sharing celebrations, or just to vent. And there's even one woman who likes or drops emojis on almost every single thing I share on Instagram. We've never met or had a conversation. Don't even know how we got connected on Instagram, but whenever I see her little celebrations and hearts on my posts, it makes me feel seen and supported. I don't think she has any idea how that brightens my day. Even she's a part of my village and creating a village has been one of the most beautiful and surprising outcomes of the joy of Copy Club. When I first created the club, I just thought we'd be meeting every week on Zoom. I'd teach a little tutorial on writing sales copy, and then we'd put our heads down to write. What I didn't know was how important that group of women would become to my own well-being. And I like to believe it's been beneficial to their well-being, too, because we [00:03:00] meet every week for six months and many women stay for even longer. We develop close relationships and connections. We witness each other's transformations over time. We celebrate and cheer on our successes. And it's not some lame engagement pod where we like and comment on each other's posts on LinkedIn.
[00:03:21] We create genuine connections with women from different industries, different backgrounds, different values and different goals. Some of these women end up working with each other in different capacities, and it brings me so much joy and purpose to know that my little idea to host a weekly copy, coaching and mentoring community could create such a powerful and supportive village to the women who've joined and think it's a big reason why women choose to stay beyond their initial six months or return to the club to renew their membership even if they've stepped away for a while. Next week, the doors to the Joy of Copy Club will be opened. If [00:04:00] you've been feeling a little alone or lost and you want to find a supportive village and community, I hope you'll consider joining. And if you join before the doors officially open to the public, you'll get a fabulous early bird bonus of an intimate VIP two hour writing workshop where you'll be able to get clear on your messaging and copy priorities and create a game plan for your time inside the club. That workshop is going to help you hit the ground running so you can reach your sales goals for the remainder of the year and start 2024 ahead of the game. The early access bonus is only available if you reach out to me privately, so shoot me an email or DM me on social to find out more.
