39: [Writing Prompt] How “Love is Blind” can help your marketing

In today’s episode of ill communication, I’m sharing a quick writing prompt. It’s all about taking what’s trending on social media or the news and using it to create content or copy for your business.

Recently, Netflix basically shat the bed on its Love Is Blind reunion and everyone is talking about it. This makes it a great topic to create copy around because so many people are interested in talking about it.

Using something that's trending in pop culture can be a great hook or idea for your content, and in this episode, I’m telling you how to do it.

Topics We Cover in This Episode:

  • Why trending topics make great copy or content topics

  • What you can write about depending on your business

  • Headline and subject line ideas

  • A word of warning about trending topics

If you're not sure about what to write this week, check out trending topics in pop culture or the news and get inspired to write using this prompt: What Blank Can Teach Us About Blank. Let me know if you use it!
